Phil Gray has a long and proud involvement with the Labor Party and responsible trade unionism. Phil has been involved in many of the defining Queensland Labor battles dating back to the 1970’s. As far back as 1977, Phil ran for the seat of Aspley as a Labor Party candidate.

What inspires this level of dedication and loyalty to a political party?

The Australian Labor Party has a long tradition of standing up for a fair go for all Australians. Dating back to 1891, the Labor Party is also Australia’s oldest political party.
